Newport Beach Real Estate News - Newport Shores Homes

Newport Shores is located just across Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) from the Pacific Ocean. It is a neighbohood of 440 homes, and is surrounded by the Newport Salt March Wildlife Preserve, which many residents refer to simply as the canal.

Newport Shores homes are eclectic, ranging from the homes originally built in the 1960's, to homes which have been remodeled and updated to completely custom homes. Some have ocean views, and some residents are fortunate enough to have homes along the canal and enjoy the wildlife which comes to visit.

Although Newport Shores has very low association dues, it features several wonderful amenities including a newly rebuilt clubhouse, an olympic size pool, volleyball court, tennis court and basketball court. The community has several holiday parties and planned events throughout the years.

I have been fortunate enough to live in four Newport Shores Homes, and my favorite annual activity was the Newport Shores Fourth of July celebration which featured a bike parade through the community on our decorated bikes, swimming, and watermelon seed spitting contest. Currently, Newport Shores Homes are selling between approximately $850,000 and $1,500,000.
