It's been a crazy busy couple of weeks, with more to do than hours in the day. I'm not complaining, it actually felt a lot like the old days. In the middle of everything, I got a frantic call from a colleague in another office. She had shown my listing a few times to a family who showed a marked interest in it. They were headed on vacation just days later and they wanted to get in one more time. The other agent had a wedding that day and was trying to get someone in her office to cover the showing for her.
The solution was so simple. I told her to give it no more thought. I would do the appointment for her, allowing her clients as much time as they needed to go through the house yet again. She thanked me profusely, suggesting it was a major favor and one for which she "owed me." I saw it in a different light altogether. It was a simple task and one that required no big effort on my part.
They came, right on time, spent about an hour or so at the house and left feeling better for having seen it again. I did what I was hired to do, make sure my sellers home was exposed to as many buyers as possible and my colleague, well she was able to enjoy her day without worry. A win/win all around I'd say.
