Farmer bitten by snake

A farmer was working on his farm when he was bitten by a snake.  He was rushed to the hospital for treatment.  As the doctors were running around trying to find the right medication to treat him with one of the doctors came by and said “Sorry to hear about your accident”.  The farmer looked at the doctor and replied “Accident? That was no accident I looked at that snake eye to eye and he meant to do it”.  I wonder do you ever get that feeling when going to a listing presentation or meet a prospective buyer this will not be good.  Personally I with due respect leave the situation and wish them a happy adventure. What say you?

Hi James - New meaning to the phrase "snake eyes"

Ahh.  Maybe you should consider an eye for an eye?  Just remember most snakes are  not poisonous - I only run when I hear the hiss and rattle come from my listing presentation!!

James, one of the first lessons I learned when I got into the business by my Broker was, if you think it's something you can't handle, refer the person out to someone else. At least that way, you're more likely to get something, than nothing, and if you end up with nothing, consider youreself lucky.

Have a great day!

Agreed.  When I hear,

"We don't have to buy/sell now"
"We're not in any hurry to buy/sell"

I'm gone.

I say "you cannot win them all" and quite frankly you are not meant to win them all! Sometimes the best win-win is to walk away. Nobody bats 1000!! Enjoy the day!

James, I've been there and done that.  Sometimes we have to charm the snake.  Not all are willing to be charmed though.

In response to Lenn's reblog...Same with sellers. They have to be 100% committed to getting the house sold. Otherwise...it turns into an accident!

James, good morning.  Personally you will not find me hanging around where there are snakes - those who sliver around on their bellies or those who walk around on two legs.  Run, say I!
