BBQ at the Summit - Dillon Colorado

The 18th Annual BBQ at the Summit is being held this coming Friday and Saturday in Dillon Colorado. Known as the world's highest barbeque challenge at 9,156 feet in elevation this is a must attend and enjoy event. What a wonderful way to spend time in the outdoors with family and friends while delighting your palate with tastey bbq served up many different ways.

Friday, August 12, 2011 -
- Noon -- BBQ Bucks Go on Sale, the feasting begins and ends at 10pm
- 1-10pm -- Peoples Choice Voting, make sure you get your token and vote for your favorite bbq!
- 1-3pm -- Spider Murphy and the Pushovers on the Climax Molybdenum Stage, Free Live Music
- 3:30-5:30pm -- Kid's Q in the Kid's Q Area
- 4-6pm -- Grinz on the Climax Molybdenum Stage, Free Live Music
- 5:30pm -- Kid's Q Judging at the Judging Tent
- 6pm -- Reser's Potato Salad Judging at the Judging Tent, find out who's potato salad is the best so you can get some to try yourself.x
- 6:30pm -- Rancher's Reserve Meat Judging at the Judging Tent
- 7pm -- Salsa Judging at the Judging Tent, this is just for bbq lovers anymore
- 7:30pm -- Sauce Judging at the Judging Tent
- 7:30-9:30pm -- Guitar Shorty on the Climax Molybdenum Stage, Free Live Music
