Call off the hounds. The medallion for St. Michael's Daze and Knight has been found by a grandmother and granddaughter who don't want any media attention....for now. But, come Saturday night they will pick up their $1,000 prize in front of the crowd just before the Secion 30 concert. Thyey only needed four clues before finding it under the traffic signal at the corner of Highway 241 and Fourth Street Northeast.
What a great way to kick off the festivities! There will be a circus ($15 at the gate, $10 in advance and you can pick up those tickets at City Hall or call 862-497-7912. Children under 14 are admitted free with an adult ticket.)
There will also be a petting zoo on Sunday from 2 to 5. Other events include a softball tournament on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.Fireworks at dusk on Friday. A Parade on Saturday at 1:30.
Sunday also includes a Pancake Breakfast from 8 - 9:15 with a church service at 9:30. Bingo from 12-3 Beer Tent Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A Hog Roast with proceeds benefiting the Hanover Food Shelf starting at 3 and going til 6 pm.
Bands, garage sales, Midway with rides on Saturday from 12 to 7 pm. Come and have some fun, food and fireworks!
