What is it they say.  Being Rich is having money, being wealthy is having TIME.

The jest of this blog is in some circumstances clients seem to be saying to others "Your time is much more valuable than mine, so here it is.  Take it".

Are You Cheating Yourself Out of Time in Exchange for Money?

TIME.  It is the one thing in our life that is truly finite.  And yet we constantly give it away as if it were nothing.

I'm going to step on some toes here; BUT, it won't be the first time!!  I believe anyone who advertises, and even boasts, they are available 24/7 is cheating.

When they do that they seem to be saying to others "Your time is much more valuable than mine, so here it is.  Take it".

Subliminaly, I think it also sends a signal that you are not in charge of your business or yourself.  We tell YOU what to do, You don't tell US.

Set some boundaries.  I really don't understand what you accomplish when you pick up the phone at 1,3,4am.  I really don't understand why you JUMP when the phone rings.

Money isn't everything.   TIME is.

The older we get the more precious time is. Yes there are times I will jump through every imaginable hoop, be out early or work late. But I don’t advertise that and rarely have to do it.
