FROBERG’S FRUIT & VEGETABLE FARM
Froberg’s Farm located at 11875 County Road 190 in Alvin, Texas and is open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Weekends. To call ahead for produce availability dial 281-585-3531.
Veggies and fruits are in abundance at Froberg’s; and it is the place to get your organically grown veggies such as corn, cabbage, onions, yellow & zucchini squash, cucumbers, purple hull peas, okra, bell peppers, tomatoes and so much more.
Don’t forget to visit the jelly, jam, and sauces section of the farm. Incidentally, this section is right next to the homemade fruit pies. Can’t do a whole pie; then treat yourself to a single serving by purchasing a fried fruit pie! Delicious!
Ops! I almost forgot! Froberg’s is introducing THE SNACK SHAK located right next door to the farm store front. It’s a great place to have a shaved ice or snow cone. Don’t forget to check out Greeks smoke house for processing your wild life meats. Or, just grab a quick bite to have out front on the picnic tables in the shade.
