Find Discounted Atlanta Foreclosures and Atlanta Homes for Sale Here. The number of Atlanta foreclosure homes has risen drastically over the past one home. There has been a record number of homes that will be sold at the courthouse doorsteps on the first Tuesday of November. The number of Atlanta new homes from builders and developers going into foreclosure has also skyrocketed. I was looking at today's available Covington homes for sale and Conyers homes for sale and found a builder who had dropped the prices of homes from $450,000 to $395,000 and the Agent in the subdivision indicated to me that this builder is not about to lose his homes like many other builders in the area.

The foreclosure stories have now obviously expanded to builders too. The banks are crying. Some of these builders were asking for too much for their houses and had been sitting on them for months waiting for the right buyer to come along. Buyers did not show up and now they are going out of business in huge numbers. This is a great time for a savvy buyer to buy one of Atlanta new homes at a huge discount. The builders are giving all the incentives known to man. You may want to try to get a house with a finished basement for the same price as one without a finished basment.

The Atlanta foreclosures numbers have varied based on the city or part of city within the Metro Atlanta area. Traditionally we have seen more Atlanta homes for sale, Decatur homes for sale, Lithonia homes for sale, Lawrenceville homes for sale, Snellville homes for sale, Norcross homes for sale,  Marietta homes for sale, Duluth homes for sale that are actually foreclosures.

It will be interesting to see whether we will start seeing many Dunwoody homes for sale, Peachtree city homes for sale, Alpharetta homes for sale, Roswell homes for sale that are actually foreclosures.
