We used to have balloon rides in our town.  I was never brave enough to get on one.  They say you really don't know where the ride will end.  Vehicles try to follow the balloon to pick up the riders.  But we at RE/MAX love our balloon image!

I didn't ride because as you can see I was taking pictures.  Yeah if they had been actual flying rides I know I wouldn't have,lol.  My daughter did go though and had a ball helping the guys set up the balloon, riding in it, and helping bring it back down.

I have yet to see one of our famous RE/MAX Balloon Flights. By the time RE/MAX announces the flights, they have passed. Or maybe that is just up here in the Northern Illinois Region.

There's a spot in Cumming, Ga where the RE/MAX Balloon takes off from.  I'm just down the road from there (in Roswell) but have never gone to personally watch the balloon take off.  I'm going to have to look into it now.

They actually were taking off this morning from Cumming, lol.  I highly recommend getting to one of thesed events if you can.

Linda, I have learned a long time ago that when you have a chance of a lifetime event happen, you take it.

I took what I could get and the joy of seeing my oldest child ride in that balloon was way more fun than me actually getting to go up.

Linda:  The is one of the most fun things that comes with being a RE/MAX agent!  I'm going to try to get a ride this weekend.

I'd love to learn more about how you organized this event and how it went over. Would you email me and we can discuss? I'm really considering throwing one of these events in my hometown. Sounds like it makes REMAX THE company of the region and places you at the top of the agent pyramid!
