August 23rd is the BIG DAY for Santa Rosa County families as it marks the start of the 2011 school year.
The Santa Rosa County School District has long been a well respected district and lives up to it's Vision Statement, "Quality Education, It's My Responsibility!" The District's mission is to be the best school system in the nation.
With 92 National Board Certified teachers and over 25,000 students, over 10,189 volunteers who devoted 162,849 documented volunteer hours in 2010, and numerous business partnerships, this well supported school district is on it's way to achieving that lofty mission.
