I never thought I would like Alabama after leaving here 13 years ago, but I have found that the south truly is a beautiful place to be and we should be VERY thankful for our taxes!! I've been out west and up northeast and although our taxes have just increased, they are NOTHING compared to what my clients from other areas tell me they pay.  I would, however, like for them to be better utilized!!
