Every Tuesday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, June through September at the Piazza in downtown Renton. This year the market is celebrating it’s 10th year anniversary and as we approach mid August, this is a great time to enjoy everything grown local.
There are approximately 50 vendors with fresh berries, fruits, and vegetables, not to mention freshly cut flower bouquets, herbs, eggs, baked goods, fruits of all kind, and more. It’s a great time and place to mingle with locals, snack on great area created treats and listen to some live music.
I’ve enjoyed the Renton Farmers Market since it began. It reminds me of growing up here and foraging through Grandpa’s garden all summer long! And, as I remember those days that seem long ago sometimes, it is still today a wonderfully mixed bag of different ethnicity's who share their passion for all things that come from the rich soil we are blessed to have here in the Pacific Northwest.

This year the market has been extended and you can attend a Sunday version at the Valley Medical Center from Noon to 4:00 pm. Find out what’s fresh, locally grown, and wonderful to eat from our own little corner of the world.
This is a great tradition and worth checking out. Stop on by, you’ll find me there on the Piazza at the Renton Farmers Market after work @ 6:00 pm.
