August in Gray Tennessee equals the Appalachian Fair! This year August 22-27 celebrates 85 years of memories.  The fair will highlight all it's headline events such as, a concert every night, Motor cross, Talent shows and a beauty pagent.  The United States Army Parachute Team will be performing for 2 days and what fair would be complete without rides and farm and home exhibits.

Cindy... it sounds like you folks will really enjoy your state fair. The one in Texas is coming soon, as well. I must admit, though... that I went to the fair in 1982... and that was more than enough for me. It was just like going to the dentist... LOL.
