Today is the day that I get to have some fun with my husband's Art work. He got a free camera with some purchase he made six or seven years ago. It was a very small digital camera. It fit in his pocket. He stuck it in his pocket and started taking photos of everything from every angle.
I don't know when he started playing around in Photoshop with his photography....it rather all came together as these things often do....down a path of discovery and learning. We had friends in the card business. She was an artist and they had a Fine Art Printer. They shared information and we bought a printer for David. His Art was born and here we are today. He now has a large format printer that God gave him. David gets lots of gifts from God. If that makes you uncomfortable...then we will call them blessings.
He goes to a local Mac shop down here for tech help on his Macs and they had this large format printer that David kept spending time with. The owner finally said to David one day...I'll give you $200 to take that printer. Floored, David said....Oh no...I could never do that. Are you interested in selling it, however? David walked away with the printer for $200 with all the supplies (ink and paper). There began his next journey of learning and his association with the very accomplished Photographers here in Redding. They go to "Print Night" to share their work. It's a good thing and he looks forward to it all month long. Good things come to good people....and that's why David get's lots of blessings. Here is one of my favorites!
