SPCA Suncoast in New Port Richey has a Lucky Cat Event going on now through Sunday, Aug 21.
The adoption fees are $25. for a black kitten; $15 for an adult black cat.

Black cats are awesome; their fur is so silky, and they have a mysterious aura.

Nice post. Cute pictures!!

Where I live, in California, we have three animal shelters that are very busy.

We're in a relatively remote area of the state so the in-house care of the animals takes a bit longer than in metropolitan areas.

Taking good care of these animals, making donations and adopting pets goes a long way.

Good for you for blogging about it.

We are hooked on them. High energy, in your face, fun loving, great greeters and communicators, amazing climbers, they can hit a light switch as they bound in a single leap, reach the highest of cupboards. Kristin - I never met a cat I didn't love instantly. If I say to my husband: Aww, isn't she/he beautiful? He says, you think all cats are beautiful (I do). He loves them just as much as I do though.
