28 Comments on School Supply List | Rockwall Independent School District | Rockwall County
A one stop resource for school supplies for the Rockwall Independent School District...very handy for parents.
A lot of work on your part to provide the links to the lists but what a wonderful source of information. Great go to post for Rockwall parents!
Roy - thanks! All the talk about the start of school, yet we still need to remember that it is still summer...at least in Texas!
Gita - good morning - I don't think I would want to be in a store this weekend! :)
Anita - thank you! I am hoping that parents do find this useful - I don't envy them going out shopping the next few days! It will be a mad rush!
Connie - thank you! I am sure that things are hectic on your side of town too! Enjoy your weekend.
Hello Barbara,
I remember when all you needed was a box of pencils a 500 pack of paper and a box of chaulk.
Now they need a truck to haul all the things on the "list".
Good post.
Best, Clint mckie
Hi Barbara - I clicked on the first school out of curiosity. Wow! How to lower income people come up with the money to buy those supplies? It seems like the schools have little or no supplies.
Hi Barbara, You certainly did a lot of schools for the list. I was looking for school supplies and was going to do a fantacy list , not what was requested but what a kid would dream about having. Like an iPad, iPhone, and for the 16 and above, a new sports car, LOL. Pencils and paper are so 1980s, LMAO.
Clint - too true! Nothing is simple or cheap anymore!
Conrad - true - the list of needed supplies is long and expensive. I am sure it gets difficult for some families especially when there are several children.
William - I agree 100%! Pen & paper? Many kids do not know who to write very well today. I do like your list! LOL
Hi Barbara, you have provided a lot of needed information for the families in your school district. Good job!
I spent many years gathering back to school supplies--first as a student, then as a teacher and finally as the mother of four! I try not to be at any office supply store during those back to school sales!
Barbara....I have no idea how you keep up with everything....you do such a great job!
Hope you have a great night!---Rob
Go Vols!
Judith - hello and thanks for the comment! I think all the stores will be packed this weekend...getting those last minute schools supply listed checked.
Norma - I, too, well remember those days of standing in line to get something and the store being out of something - likely small but a have to have item. I did not know you were a teacher in your past life. No wonder now that all your posts are so well written and presented!
Rob - thanks to the Internet it is now easier to research items - but still a task to keep informed! Thanks for your comment, have a great Sunday in Bristol!
Hello Russel - thanks for sending such an adorable weekend wish!
