Spooky Celebrations For North Las Vegas

I remember as a kid not having to worry about SAFE trick or treating.  For those in the North Las Vegas area, the following locations will be having SPOOKY CELEBRATIONS for the whole family.  Costumes are encouraged but not required for the free events.

The North Las Vegas Main Library at 2300 Civic Center Drive is having a Halloween party!  The party will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, at 2300 Civic Center Drive. For more information, call the library at 633-1070.

The Silver Mesa Recreation Center's Halloween Carnival will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 4025 Allen Lane. This event is for children ages 2 to 11.  For more information, please call 633-2550.

Aliante Library's Halloween Carnival will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31. The event, at 2400 Deer Springs Way, is planned for children 6 & under.  

The North Las Vegas Police Department will hold its annual Safe Halloween Event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31, in the Home Depot parking lot, 1275 W. Craig Road, near the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard. Last year's event drew approx. 4,000 children.
