Toni,

I could see them in a Star Trek movie.  We had a friend who was in charge of styling the food and the plants for the Star Trek sets, she would have love this orchid.  I would love to know what it is called, and see if our Carpinteria greehouse ever grow those.  I love your sense of humor as expressed by the title. I keep on trying, Clint. Thanks.

Rebecca - kind of cute though!

Kristin - thank you!

Ceil - sometimes the really unusual can also be really pretty, I guess.

Alexandra - I haven't seen them anywhere else; this was a first sighting of the aliens: if you find out before I do, let me know. I would have loved the job your friend had! Thanks.

Bliz: They are unique and kinda odd looking.

Jerry - I hadn't either that's why I took their picture so I could report them to the FBI. :)

Toni,

Your orchids caught my eye immediately.  I grow them myself. Yes, here in Arizona.  People are so surprised when they come into my home and see them.  It is surprising that some folks have no clue what they are looking at either. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Toni, That's great! You have a nice sense of humor to see that!  Orchids are so "alien" looking sometimes and so beautiful because of it!
