Sooke School District 62, Back To School Report Near Victoria BC
Today we will Review the Back to school and general services and schools in the Sooke School District (District 62).
There are 3 school districts in the Greater Victoria area, in an earlier articles we covered the Victoria School District (district 61) which you can review from this link and the 3 rd. of the districts in the south Vancouver Island School, District 63 for Saanich and the Peninsula.
The Sooke School District likely covers the largest geographic area of the South Vancouver Island School Districts, and as such has a number of challenges that are different to the two other more densely populated districts.... Contrary to the Victoria and the Saanich Districts, the more Rural Sooke School District continues to grow in its school going population, and as the Catchment map shows there are a few new schools planned for the Sooke district in the coming years.
September 06, 2011 will be the first day of school but this is only a half day.
Kindergarten will start September 15, 2011

School Bus System in the Sooke School District
The Sooke School District, as mentioned is very large and as such the School-bus system is an essential service for many parents and children.
