Mortgage rates continue to move toward new lows, according to the most recent Freddie Mac primary mortgage market survey.
This graph shows average rates for the last 20 weeks. The average rate for a 30 year fixed rate loan was 4.32%. The average rate for a 15 year fixed rate loan was 3.5%.
As of this post, many local lenders are offering rates that are even lower than these latest rates published by Freddie Mac. If you've been thinking of refinancing or locking in your rate for an upcoming purchase, now is a great time to call your lender.
