* Promoting our new 1950's Listing *

There are certain Redding CA Neighborhoods that never lose their charm. Driving through the neighborhood is like driving down memory lane, think 1950's and 60's, a time when "hope" was breathed by every citizen in neighborhoods across America. Young servicemen returned from WWII and began getting married, having children, new homes and new jobs. This was the American culture, with an energy never before experienced.
During the 1950s, a sense of uniformity pervaded American society.

In a very small way, I feel like I've lived that era.
This my Grandparent's Home, a very special home on Barbara Road. My mother grew up in this house, we celebrated many special holidays and family gathering right here. Grandpa, a man of great integrity was the Dean of the local community college and well known throughout the community. They hosted numerous dinners and social parties on Barbara Rd.

There was time when living on Barbara Rd. was like living in one of Beverly Hills neighborhoods. It was cool then and it is cool now!

The day has come for Grandma to sell the house on Barbara Rd. and looking back to my younger years, I never imagined I'd be here promoting my new listing on Barbara Road, what a privilege...mixed emotions for sure.
Life must go on!
