19 Comments on GOOD NEWS! "Painting With a Twist" in The Woodlands Texas!
THat looks like a lot of fun. I don't think they have a place like that here.
Donna, another good reason for you to visit me! Take a break and we'll go paint a picture! LOL...
Wow, we have one of these places in Flower Mound? I didn't know. I really should take up painting, and your art work looked super Deb.
Gary, you've gotta go! It was a really awesome experience and I'm already planning on a return painting party!
Oh, and thank's for the compliment! Not too bad for a first shot at it.
LOL,
Deb
Deb,
I went to Painting with a Twist a couple of months ago in Grapevine, TX in honor of my friend's birthday. We had about 8 people and it was a lot of fun. I visited Painting With a Twist in Flower Mound but I liked the one in Grapevine a lot better. I'visited a few others here in Texas and they are all unique and a lot of fun. My painting is proudly displayed at home.
Your photos and blog post on this great franchise is wonderful! I love the paintings that everyone did. It's a lot of fun, isn't it! I definitely would go back and I'm glad to know Painting With a Twist is popping up all over!
Have fun painting! Your painting looked a lot better than mine!
Painting with a Twist looks like a wonderful idea. Thanks for sharing the information.
Deb, I know a real estate agent who is on disability and painting stuff that people buy! Think about it.
Patricia, thank you! Painting With a Twist is worthy of high praise! I so enjoyed it. It was handled very professionally and Daniel Beach was a doll. It is so much fun isn't it? I just learned about it and I hope everyone will try it. I WILL be going back!
Roy, thank you and your photo would make a beautiful painting! You are awesome.
Patricia, lol...ROFL...there's a thought? Would you buy it though? Come on...I want an answer on that! LOL....
I wonder if they have gift certificates available? My mother-in-law (Carrollton, Tx) would LOVE this!!
Hi Joni, I know they have one near her. And, yes. She would love it. I think most people would love this. It is something everyone should try at least once. Which could turn into twice...thrice...and so on. After your 10th painting you get one free! I may try for this. Thank you so much for coming by. See you soon!

Deb, our community is big on Art and we have many artists in our area, Enjoyed reading your post and the pictures.
What an incredibly marvelous idea! I haven't heard of something like that, but it looks like everyone not only had a good time, but also went home with something to be proud of. Good job, Deb!
Hi Deb,
Love the concept and franchise idea and asa you are so passionate about it, I think we need to create the Active Rain Painting with a Twist contest and support group...., are you volunteering.....?
Kwee, thank you! I love art!
Mimi, it's so cool and what fun it was getting my fingers in the paint!
Peter and Linda...LOL! I need a good support group! Are you volunteering???
Deb, as an artist and designer myself, I had to scroll your blog to see what this was about. So fun to bring the artist out of everyone, and how unique each interpretation. I have a large painting I started but need the time to finish, thanks for the inspiration.
Deb, This is obviously the product of our conversation (lol).
Deb - while not painting with a twist I have taken a few "lessons" and really enjoyed what I learned ..... even had a local shop (where I was getting some framed) offer to feature my paintings in their shop.
Deb, this is such a cool coincidence! I live in Grogan's Mill in The Woodlands- just a few minutes from "Painting With a Twist"! Next time you're in the area, please consider giving me a call and we'll have coffee or just say "Hi". It'd be great to meet you! Paula Hamilton is my broker (also in The Woodlands), so perhaps we could all get together.
Ellen, I know you are! I have had the honor of viewing your artwork on your posts and you are amazing. Don't look at mine! Puuulease?
Marchy, yep! It certainly is! Loved it.
Kathy, it's been a far off dream of mine to learn and have the time to do something with it. Three hours is all I could muster! I would love to see some of your work.
David! You bet! Paula is a good friend through AR and I would love to get together. In fact, we are getting together soon with an AR Meet up. I will look forward to meeting you there.
