I'm going merrily along in my Real Estate career in Virginia Beach; I had heard of blogging but didn't know anything about it. At most I thought it was something or other that young people did on MySpace or whatever.

I have been using PPC on GOOGLE primarily, sometimes Yahoo, and it has been a good way to put myself in front of people looking for Homes in Virginia Beach and the surrounding areas of Virginia for some time. Then the market slowed down, more and more entities (big operators) had gotten into PPC which increased the cost and diluted the results---and I went to GOOGLE, as I almost always do, to try to find out what was happening new in the market place.

And Blogging kept coming up as the "new way" or the "new direction" or at least an addition to the "current ways". Well, I'm still awfully new at this blogging thing, and hope to learn more and more about this "new" direction but I certainly feel blessed to have found out about blogging, and more especially to have found www.activerain.com .

Jim, blogging is a great tool, and in my mind much better than any PPC campaign.  The best part of blogging is the fact that it is free!

Jim... I just started, and am waiting to see what comes of this.  Early reports look good.

The concept seems great, it's the practitioner that needs the work.  Lets give it a chance.

Good Luck
