Pay it Forward Over the Phone!

I received a telephone call yesterday from a Keller Williams agent in New York. She had somehow found my ActiveRain blog and was calling to find out how to make a banner like mine. So, I walked her through setting up an account on Picnik and through each step to create a banner like mine. Then I showed her how to change the color to KW red, and how to add text.. After that I explained how she could edit pictures before loading them in the collage to change how the whole thing looked. About 45 minutes later, I had referred her to ActiveRain and hung up the phone.

What a fun Pay it Forward. I think she was shocked! LOL!

(wouldn't it be fun if she joined AR!!)

Joni: I booked marked the blog where you explained how to copyright your photos by using Picnik. I didn't know that I could create a banner by using the same site. I will try that sometime this week. You are very clever.

Joni - good for you for helping out someone from so far away. And, I'll repeat what everyone else is saying - how about a tutorial? I was able to change my header, but couldn't make a banner or use more than one photo. And, they distorted, so I gave up for that day.

Karen: It literally just takes a few minutes if you already have the 4 photos that you want to use picked out! We are trying to tie up all of the lose ends in order to go to Colorado for a week. I'll jump on the tutorial as soon as we get back! Okay, maybe after a day or two of rest! :)))
