If I was a seller considering a short sale, I'd interview several agents and get REAL referrals. Sort Sales can be a real mess.
I totally agree, that is why I descided to do this post, you and I come from similar markets and know what the challanges are along with potential liability for the sellers given we are both in a second home/investment markets !!
Short sales are a thing unto themselves and it can be a big problem for the buyer.

Totally agree with you but still seems like the consumer is drawn to it without knowing all the details and looking at the attractive pricing that is not approved by anyone !!
