The Hands On Regional Museum in downtown Johnson City is a perfect place to spend an afternoon with young people. It is delightfully known as , "the place to discover!" The museum is geared towards fun learning and has interactive displays and events going on year round. My daughters favorite was the grocery store. They had a complete grocery store in a small version to fit small people! They had carts, shelves stocked with food (with prices), a check out line and a cash register to take your money. They also had a full service (small sized) bank. A great place to visit.
Hands On also has a wonderful area for adult parties, fund raisers and meetings. It is a great addition to downtown Johnson City.
