Richard, it may be true that we need to get past the rage & focus on the solution...only solutions bring us progress & hope..but many are so stressed it is very difficult to make those steps....
Let it out, channel it constructively! Is this an image from last fall colors or early Jack Frost in your area Richard? Love your imagery. You are talented, gifted with the lens is what you shoot, capture and share.
Good morning, Richard. While the words of the poet are true, we still need to vent or explode...
Good morning Richard. I agree with you. All we can do is what we can do, live in the moment, and be kind to one another.
Richard, as always what a spectacular photo. It goes a long way towards calming the spirit and containing the rage.
Preparation is the key to channeling the rage. It's a better approach than sticking your head in the sand and hoping the future doesn't arrive..........
My advice to agents who contact me about problems is always - "Calm down. There is no benefit to getting exercized about things over which you have no control".
I had a rage day yesterday. I am much better today! I let something get the better of me, know I have let it go.
Well said...there is a lot of negativity and complaining in the world...I think we all need to remember there is ALWAYS someone worse off then ourselves!
Richard - Calm is always the best route - however, we, as mortal humans, do not always take the best route.
All very true thoughts and one that we must draw upon and remind ourselves from time to time. Have a wonderful Sunday. I think we all experience those moments and like you, I find that reflection and our voice helps us define our moment and work ourselves out of the challenge. Hope you have a wonderful relaxing day and find that next week is filled with positives!
Richard,
Despite all of our problems and challenges, we still live in the greatest society ever. I'm amazed at the reasons some of these violent protesters are using to excuse their actions.
Rich
Ghandi's "Be the change you wish to see in the world' is what immediatley popped into my mind in reading this. Good post Richard, thoughtful as always.
Ginny...
There is plenty of stress to go around these days! Thanks for the comment.
Andy...
It's from last fall ... third week in October. Fall comes late in the Southern Appalachians! Thanks for asking.
Richard,
I think this is Buddist's philosophy except "Rage must be suppressed." We create the rage in ourselves, if we feel it, and the cause of the rage must be understood and let go. I'm not a Buddhist, but I did read the Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.
