Flag Pole and Clouds

It was a bright and sunny day in Livermore, California this morning when my husband and I went downtown for a great breakfast buffet at the First Street Alehouse. The clouds looked different than I’d ever seen them before, and as we walked to follow them, we were graced with this site.

Our landmark Flagpole Plaza in the center of town, was ablaze with the sun just so prominent in the foreground, you could hardly see the flag. When the furls of the flag rippled, and I stood in just the right place, I could see it in all its glory.  Notice the interesting formations of the cloud, as if someone combed through them, dragging their lines down along the horizon.

Here's another shot.

An awesome photo is any photo that has the American flag.  Very nice and very patriotic!

Hi Karen, That's quite a flag pole. We have 25 foot pole. When i went to order my husband a new flag I actually found out there is a recommendation for flag size depending on the size flag pole you have. I was thinking - the bigger the better! Have a great week.
