Prospecting Pumpkins!  What a pain in the neck they are! LOL!  We are the Bradbury

Team From Coldwell Banker Heritage in Quakertown, PA. USA.  This year, for the third year in a row, we delivered a pumpkin to each and every house in three neighborhoods in our area.  We have been farming these areas quite aggressively.  Today, each house found a pumpkin on their front porch, with this post card ( left) describing the pumpkin decorating contest.  Next Saturday, we will actually go to each house and do the judging.  We will choose a winner from each neighborhood, who will receive a Gift card from Toys R US!   This has been extremely popular!  We have had scary pumpkins, funny pumpkins, silly pumpkins, as well as ugly pumpkins;  We make sure that everyone who

participates in the contest wins a prize.  This year we have ribbons, specially printed up with our contact information.  In addition, each participant will receive a bag of candy from the Bradbury Team.  Everyone is a winner!  Now how does this pay off you may say?  The first neighborhood we started with a few years ago has many re-sales each year.  There are 143 homes in the development, and more than 10% of the homes go up for re-sale each year!  We can boast some success, as we have listed and sold more homes than any other Realtor!  This is true!

The picture below shows them displayed from last year's contest.  There was a neighborhood block party

and we helped sponsor it with our pumpkin decorating contest.  One seller actually called requesting the Bradbury Team, as we are the ones that give away the pumpkins every year.

So, it is a pain in the neck to buy 400 pumpkins, transport them around, deal with the mud they come with, and deliver them to 400 homes.

But we have 13 transactions in one development as a result of our farming efforts, and of course word of mouth.  I developed the slogan  ... List with US!  Your neighbor did!  It works for us, but it still is a pain in the neck though. LOL!
