Roberta - thanks for checking in - this unit is underpriced - the rental rate is not even covering expenses, but the owners are out of the country and wanted rented. I hope you are right.
Beautiful job on this listing! How much would one of these units cost, and what are the maintenance fees, taxes, etc.? My wife and I are looking for an investment/rental/escape.
Hi Lucky - this unit will be priced at $1.1 million, but there are other smaller units in lower floors priced for less. I saw 1 bedroom units yesterday, one on the second floor priced at $425K and one of the 6th Floor, priced at $499K. There's one with the same floorplan as this one on a lower floor (5th or 6th) in the $800K's. Hope that helps. Surfside is a quiet beach, but close enough the the action (South Beach) when you want it. Thanks for the inquiry.
Lucky - good memory, we had a gentleman from Canada who had already done his intent to lease and had already been approved by the condo board not show up for his inteview....it was a little strange, but back on the market. Don't even tell me about Iowa winters, my sister lives in Des Moines and I went to visit her ONCE.
Next time you come up to visit your sister (I won't hold my breath) you'll have to stop by Davenport and check out the River Music Experience. It is really cool as well as our beautiful riverfront. We have a guest room that you're welcome to use when you visit.
Come up in the summer to take a break from the heat. We have central air conditioning...if we need it!
Lucky - how sweet are you? Remember it's 5 of us! My favorite place when I went to Iowa was Pella - the only reason I was curious to visit was because of the Pella Window factory (my favorite window) - and I was in complete AWE when I arrived - it was spring and the whole town was planted with the most beautiful tulips I have ever seen! They were everywhere, all colors and sizes - I had never seen anything like it!
They actually wash the streets "by hand" to prepare for the tulip festival! Another fine example of a beautiful Iowa community....if you can handle the snow in the winter.
We can handle the 5 of you if ya'll can handle our two big dogs.
This one is directly on the beach David, it really is a sight to see, the view takes your breath away. Did I mention the weather is around the 70's lately?
Rick & Ines, don't know why or how your listing continues to be taken off of the featured post. AR must be having quite a bit of tech problems. I will feature it AGAIN.
Lloyd - both Jeff Turner and Nick M. had great tutorials on how to do it - pretty simple. Just copy the embed code into the HTML box and you should be ready. E-mail me if you have any questions.
AHA!!! Beth - my goal was reached!! if only one person would long for the ocean, my job would be complete. Thanks and you are welcome in Miami anytime!
Who are these wackos that keep spamming dozens of blogs on AR?
I say we find them, skin them, and hang them with their "bingo and slot machines"!
What do you think, Ines?
Lucky :)
Me, too! I put about 6 or 7 messages on them from just this morning! They have been happening for weeks and I can't believe that AR can't stop them! One of the spam messages was put on AR's Official Blog! :)
