Thanks to Laurie's generous contribution, I just met my fundraising goal for my November 10th El Dorado County Food Bank Hunger Walk. 

Laurie donated a hugely generous $100, and thanks to $100 in Elite Properties matching contributions, we raised $200.  Thanks to the hard work of the Food Bank in going around collecting donations, the work of the El Dorado County Association of Realtors and the cantree every year, and the generous donations of local supermarkets, and probably other reasons I don't know about, the food bank is able to donate $9 for every dollar received.  That means that thanks to Laurie's generous donation:

$1,800 in food will be available to feed the hungry in El Dorado County.  

Now THAT's having an influence. 

Something we don't yet know is this:  Does the Donation Page still work now that we've hit our goal?  Can we go past our goal?  

Does anybody have a credit card who's willing to try it out for me?

PS...  I know Laurie made it look like the donation form only works with $100 amounts, but I think it also takes fives, tens, twenties, etc. You should test it out though to make sure... :)
