You are required to have one year residency in Orange County to utilize the program.

Homebuyers Must attend a pre and post purchase homebuyers seminar.
There is a limit on how much can be lent, depending on your income level and your household size..
The amount of assistance is adjusted for your family size, all family members are included. Income levels cannot exceed program income limits.
If you qualify you can receive one of three different types of down payment assistance.
* Very Low Income - $17,500 in Down Payment Assistance Deferred for 15 Years @ 0%
* Low Income - $10,000 in Down Payment Assistance Deferred for 15 Years @ 0%
* Moderate Income - $5,000 in Down Payment Assistance Deferred for 15 Years @ 0%
You do have to put some of your own money into the purchase of the home. The amount that you will have to put down will be the greater of $1000 or 1.75% of the purchase price towards a down payment and closing costs.
