Tax Free weekend in Texas is this coming weekend, August 19-21 2011.
Get all your last minute, end of the summer, shopping done! It's not that the 8.25% off is that big of a deal, but for the most part, many stores do big sales on top of everything, so if something is 40% off, it's really 48.25% off. That's where the savings start to add up!
Keep in mind that anything over $100 is excluded. You cannot go buy designer jeans for $150 and expect to save the tax.
Now that my daughter has to wear uniforms, I'll be out this weekend doing the final gathering of red, white, and navy!
