Excellent Information for all the folks in your area!  I, for one, am anxiously waiting for that first day of school!  I love my child, but I am worn out!  I will remember to start leaving home a little earlier in the morning and be prepared for the school buses!

Craig, I'm sure August 25th is way to soon for the kids in Wake County and probably not soon enough for the parents...schools started last week here.

Kristin - Check out tomorrow's blog Kristin. I'll bet your hubby looks like the kids in the video I'm posting on it!

Wanda - It's the information parents NEED to know for the upcoming start of the school year!

Amy - I love my kid too. But, even though the summer vacation was never long enough when I was a kid, it's too long now that I'm a parent!

Richard - It seems that as we get older and older the days get shorter and shorter. That's why I try to enjoy every day!

Sussie - EXACTLY! Slow down when driving through them.

Anonymous - Spoken like a true student! Thanks for stopping on by. Come back any time!

Anita - The people with children in the Wake County Public School system Need this information. And I'm happy to provide it.

Michael - Don't worry Michael. Maybe this will finally be the year you get your diploma!!!

Nick - You guys start early. I thought we started early here in NC. When I lived in NY, we didn't start until after Labor Day.

Good reminder about stopping for school buses.  Too many people just drive on by these days.  There's a good reason for the law.

Doug - It really riles me up to see people driving past a stopped school bus. Personally I think those who do should lose their license for a period of time.
