With the cuts in school budgets it is nice to see that an emphasis in the arts is still being given great visibility. Sounds like a wonderful way to kick off the school year.
Hi Connie, I am very happy for these 90 talented students. What a great opportunity for them to further develop their passion for music. Have a great day!
Hi Joni, I enjoy these music makers as well. It is fun to watch their enthusiasm and excitement. Enjoy your day!
Wow Judith, 90 student, that should make for some great music, I was in the band in High School and it was great to march in all the parades in the fall.
Hi Will, the fall season starts many great things from bands, musicals, plays, theatre and etc. I enjoy them all. You must have had fun being in a marching band. I was in a drill team and we went all over the country and marched in parades. It was fun. Have a great day!
i love that kind of thing.. My daughters used to play in "strings" ... it was always wonderful to hear them play
Judith,
This is a great post and an excellent opportunity for children to think about music lessons. Music has been appreciated since the beginning of time and I don't think there's a greater gift you can give a child than the gift of music.
Kids can learn a lot by taking music lessons and it's a challenge that every kid should put to the test. I always admire people who have a greater appreciation for the arts.
