Just a quick shout out to Cindy Mutz and California Title. We closed today on a tough transaction and they really came through for me. We were trying to fund a loan yesterday to make a closing deadline on the replacement property.
That didn't happen...sigh.
We tried....and tried, but the funder was "busy" and didn't jump on our loan in time. Crazy!
Normally we can do concurrent closes due to the "special record" option of Orange County, title can go out much later than most counties. But the replacement home is held by a trust and they require all funds to be in escrow the day before the close. We are also up against the deadline for the closing...they have indicated that they could not extend an extra day easily.
So...today, we scrambled and scrambled. But the problem was transferring funds from one escrow to the other. We needed title recorded in order to send the money.
This is where Cindy Mutz and her team stepped up to the plate. They made special arrangements and sent out a rep to record early. This is not normal!!! But when you work with someone who is flexible and understands the special circumstances we were under...they make it work. And she did!
