I am a theatregoer, and like many of my breed, I find new theatre exciting, especially when it's as original and hilarious as "DATE" at Dad's Garage.

Dad's Garage is a great, fun place to see live theatre and improv. In fact, it has been voted BEST THEATRE COMPANY AND IMPROV GROUP by "Creative Loafing, 5 years in a row!

Saturday night, I had the pleasure of seeing a new show at Dad's Garage, in their Top Shelf theatre, called "DATE: The Communication of Love, OR Never Having to Say I Love You."

If you have a spare evening, sometime between now and November 10th, I highly recommend you see this show. If you DON'T have a spare evening, see it anyway...it is definitely worth it!

A World Premiere from Dad's Garage's very own Improv Director Tim Stoltenberg, this show is all about L-O-V-E and the role it plays in the dating world. Think figuring out relationships is hard enough? Try communicating how you feel without words! Aside from a few inspirational video clips, there are no actual words spoken on stage. All of the actors must convey their thoughts through emotion alone.

And running at just about an hour (with no intermission), it's the perfect show for a DATE (just long enough to make it fun, just short enough to be able to get outta there, if the date's [your date, not the show] not going so well!).

So grab a DATE and make a DATE to see DATE. You'll be glad you did!
