Steve,

Well that is good news.  Little by little, the ship will right itself.  Love the picture with the S form in the wall. Happy Sunday, A

Peter & Linda,

Thank you for your kind remarks. There have been a few Shasta County developments that were shelved after the bubble. While a few have started to move back to the drawing board Hawkins Company's project is the first to develop momentum.

Best,

Steve

Love that "Welcome to Redding" sign. All we have for San Diego are those crummy highway signs that also tell you the population, and even those are outdated because they use the 2000 population.

This certainly is excellent news for the region Steve. Jobs for the residents and additional revenue for Shasta County. I like the real estate recovery focus.

Eric,

It's funny you should mention San Diego as you comment on this sign. This is the gateway to the Hilltop business district where a major street scape plan was recently developed. There were a few comments that the palm lined boulevard reminded some residents of San Diego.

Best,

Steve

Doug,

While the project won't build out overnight the total number of jobs created may total close to 1% of Shasta County's population.

Thank you for your comments,

Steve
