Pay your bills on time is the most important. However, the quickest and most affective way to establish a great score is simply this... Open up a credit card... use this card for everything... your bills, groceries, dinners out... EVERYTHING that you would be purchasing with your (cash on hand)... Now I know what you are thinking... "But I am paying interest on that money..." No you are not... If your billing date on the credit card is the 15th... then just pay it on the 13th. Because what is happening is that when you buy all these things with cash the creditors don't see that... This way they recgonize that you are using the monies they let you borrow but then you are paying them back in FULL... It is money that you would be spending anyways just in a differnt order... And on top of that if you have a credit limit of lets say 1000 dollars, do this for 2-3 months and the creditor will increase your balance. TRUST ME... IT WORKS!
