Santa Cruz's central location gives residents access to not only all the great activities with the county itself, but also to events, parks, and fun in surrounding areas.
This weekend, locals can take a nice drive south to Monterey county to view classic cars in the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. While most of the cars this year are Jaguars, an ecclectic mix of rare and vintage cars will be racing and on display. Bob Tullius, a long-time veteran of Jaguar motorsports, will be addressing fans and enthusiasts alike at the "Picnic with Jaguar" event n the lawn at Leguna Seca, along with other contributors to th sport's long and vibrant past and present. This series of events takes place at Mazda Raceway at Leguna Seca, and costs between $70 and $90 per day.
