10 Comments on DID YOU HEAR ABOUT APPRAISAL MANAGEMENTS COMPANIES LATEST SCAM?
Thank you for the post. I have not yet heard of such companies in my market area.
Hi Gita - These appraisal management companies are in every state. Talk to a local lender about them.
Conrad - this is insane, crazy, nutty.....no...it seems to be the new normal! Enjoy a great weekend!
Dysfunctional is the new norm Barbara because of governmental insanity.
If all the appraisers were to quit that might and I say might get their attention
Conrad, just finished reading all of your rants on the appraisal industry. The fact that this middle man, the AMCs, has been thrust upon us has never made sense to me. It's just free money to them, with in my opinion, no added value.
Conrad,
I hear you! I'm also finding BPOs are done at a discounted rate and agents like myself are given very little time to do them.
FRUSTRATING TO SAY THE LEAST!
Hi James - Don't bet on it.
You are 1000% correct Connie.
For sure Michele.
Hadn't heard about this. I wouldn't blame appraisers for taking a stand against doing anything for these companies.
These appraisal management companies are the ones who hire people out of the area. They give the jobs to the lowest bidder. Quality suffers for all real estate agents Kay.
