Jan. 2: Students off, professional development for secondary, teacher work day for elementary
Jan. 16: Martin Luther King Jr. Day, no school
Jan. 19: End of first semester
Jan. 20: Students off, professional development for elementary and teacher work day for secondary
Feb. 20: President's Day, no school
Feb. 28 - March 1: FCAT writing test for grades four, eight and 10
March 5-9: Spring break
April 2: End of third nine weeks
April 5: Students off, teacher work day
April 6: Good Friday, no school
April 16-27: FCAT testing
May 28: Memorial Day, no school
June 8: Last day for students
* Nov. 21 and 22 are designated as weather make-up days for hurricanes and tropical storms. If not needed they will be holidays for students and all staff except 12-month employees.
Early release days: The following dates are early release days for students and professional development time for school district employees: Sept. 9, Oct. 27, Nov. 10, Dec. 20, Jan. 19, Feb. 24, March 23, May 4, May 18, June 6, June 7 and June 8.
