Construction on this new center will begin in 2007 and be completed in 2009. It is being built at the Georege Mason University campus in Manassas. When complete it will provide a very versatile, state-of the-art facility. It will be home to the Prince William Symphony, Manassas Ballet Theatre, Gray Ghost Theatre and other similar organizations. It will be available for use by area schools and will also accommodate meetings by business, civic and service organizations.
In addition to the artsit's drawing of the Performance Hall there will be multiple rehearsal facilities and a complete scenery workshop. It will seat 300 for a banquet and over 600 at a reception. Its' total cost will be approximately $60 million.
