There will be a wide variety of vendors and number of products used in our homes at the show. I went to a session held by David Weekley about 14 months ago and it was excellent. I learned a lot about home building and what separates a quality builder from non-quality builder. I will try to fit this show into my schedule. I encourage all who can attend to go as they will find this show an excellent use of their time.

I sometimes think about getting on with a new home company, but so many of them went out of business during the past five years, and the others have suspended new construction. Some of these older homes are really tough to work with, especially after the home inspection report.

Jim - David Weekley has been in business for over 34 years and it is a privately held company. I can understand about older homes being tough to work with. There are some definite advantages to working with a builder especially one as wonderful as David Weekley.
