News Flash - Downpayment Assistance Programs To Be Discontinued by HUD

Downpayment Assistance Programs (DAPs) which are funded with seller contributions to the buyer will be discontinued by HUD.

Translation: Less chance of buyers qualifying for loans

I dont see it as good news for buyers or lenders. Is anyone doing these kind of loans and will it have an effect on YOUR business?

Just another way to keep people from owning their own piece of the american dream..........I'd like to know what the statistics are for realtors who leave the business every day for these kinds of reports.........
