Bridgeland is a master planned community in Cypress, Texas. Construction is set to begin in the Fall of 2011 on The Lakeland Village Center. This Center will be a mixed-use center with retail, apartments, and restaurants. Bridgeland’s Lakeland Village Center will be located on the corner of Fry and Bridgeland Lake Parkway. The center will be right across CyRanch High School.

As far as the apartments go, my guess is that they will be higher end, and these days, some apartment rents are higher than home mortgages.
