Thermal Racetrack & Motorsports Club gets a green light from an investment by a major backer!

 

Thermal Motorsports Track & Club , a membership-based country club of road courses for car enthusiasts and wanna-be race car drivers announced that Tim and Twanna Rogers have acquired a majority stake in the facility. The Rogers own Tower Energy Group Corp. an independent wholesale fuel provider based in Torrance.

Located near the Jacquiline Cochrane Regional Airport in Coachella on 344 acres, the Thermal Racetrack is slated to be the  next new attraction to entice auto collectors and drivers seeking a challenging track to let their inner Mario's loose and push their sports cars to their limit.  Members of the club will be able to house their pricey cars and also enjoy many amenities including golf, tennis, spa and shopping at the La Quinta Resort & Club.

According to the Desert Sun, the track, approved by the county Planning Commission in July, is slated for clearing this month.  Project planners hope to have the land prepped and approvals in place for paving by mid-November.
