50 Comments on How many houses are you going to sell between now and the end of the year?
Lori,
Writing down your goals and affirmations is very powerful toward achieving them, I will use this strategy for the remainder of this year. Thank you for sharing this with us :-)
You go Girl!!! writting down our objectives creates a clear vision of where we are headed thus increases the possibility of results planned for.
Lori:
Writing ones goals down is excellent, but the secret is taking action. I find that many agents have goals, but do not take the actions necessary to achieve those goals. Example: Five new listings. How many calls are you going to make, how many mail outs, how many expires are you contacting, etc? So having a goal of five new listing is all good & well, but without a plan on how to get those listings it remains a nebulous..
I love goals, setting them and working for them...I set goals early this year along with a monthly breakdown... I have them adjusted for the time of year...
I'm two shy of my goal for my first year in real estate. Working everyday to reach it! Thanks for the push. Mentally I had them written down but maybe posting them on my fridge will just push me that much more!
Lori, updating your business plan in August is a great idea. Thanks for the reminder.
Writing it down and revising as you go is a good plan. Congrats on the feature!
Say it loud, and say it proud we used to say when I played sports. Good luck with that Lori, and be sure to report back so we can celebrate with you. It might just be 20 when it's all said and done, and I hope it is!!
It is a great plan! Instead of wondering and feeling sorry for the conditions, make a plan to conquer all obstacles. Set your goals an get it done. I love working with agents that have a goal and a plan. Not only are they striving for the goal, I get to help with the challenge. This year, one of my clients set a goal to sell 60 REO properties this year with a minimum list price of $100k. So far, we are at 53 properties that exceed the $100k price and many more sold below $100k. Are we going to stop? No! It's just the three of us and we are doing great!
Set your eyes on the target and aim for it!
I love the attitude.l But how will you sell these homes? I have 10 listings. Nothing is moving here right now. Where do I create these offers...argggg
Lori, excellent posting and it has prompted me to get busy and write down how many homes I will sell by the end of the year! Great posting, thanks!
Goals are good but it's gone awfully quiet here of late. I am hoping it's just families getting the kids back into school and we'll see a surge before too long. So I match your 10!
Lofty goals for sure. You have to have lofty goals to aim and achieve your dream!
Good Luck!

I should be able to sell $22M this year (you don't want to know the units - very few) and the GCI on that will be nice. I've gotten very, very lucky this year picking up some big clients but I need to be much more orchestrated next year.
The last quarter of the year is always when it's important to keep up the activity, so you can finish strongly and that the first quarter of the next year will start off on the right foot.
Lori, I like the way you think! Focusing on referrals is definitely the way to go. What real estate contact management system are you using?

I like your style and when my plans are written, they always come to fruition. Best wishes to you.
I am never going to provide a broker my goals and objectives again. If I am going to hang my license with someone, they better have a business plan.
SO TRUE! The more you visually look at your goals - the more inclined you are to achieve them!
I will sell 15 more by the end of the year. I'm planning to pick up 3 listings this week.
