The Citizens for Animal Protection has been in business since 1972 and is committed to rescuing, sheltering and placing homeless animals with new owners and preventing animal cruelty. The private organization is a 501(c)(3) charity that helps animals not only in Katy Texas but throughout the entire Houston area. CAP advocates respect and compassion for all animals.

They also provide pet education classes; run a pet supply store; conduct a Pet for Senior’s program; operate a CAP thrift store and numerous other programs. A foster home program is another part of CAP’s business.

CAP is in need of tax deductible donations so that they can continue their fine work. You and your family’s small donation can make the difference in saving the life of one pet for another family.

My family recently adopted a dog from CAP to replace our dog that passed on last November due to cancer. I still once in a while call the new dog by our previous dogs name as his memory is still very strong within me.
