24 Comments on Fewer Calls Means You're Not Blogging Enough....
Great post Barbara. You always have the best posts.
Ginny....that's why I have team members in different towns....we're not competing with each other and the team benefits....they each have their own niche area....but they need to blog more too....
Patricia....thank you....but I think you give me more credit than I deserve!!
I've said it before and I'll say it again. In fact I say it every year.
IT'S AUGUST!!
HI Barbara-I know that I probably need to blog more and get more focused with my key words. Still working on it :)!
Lenn....well, I guess during the month of August we need to beef it up....we'll see how Sept. through Dec. go!!! not much is typical anymore....
Brenda....we need to mail more, blog more, market more.....
Barbara, You seem to be doing a great job at this. I will definitely go and check out Katrina Gasset"s link you sent. It never occurred to me to put a key word "list" together. I will need to start working on that and would appreciate anything you cared to share!
Thanks for the motivation Barbara! I was slacking off for a couple of weeks, and know I'll pay for it in the future!
Deborah....Katerina does a great job of relaying what you need to know about SEO.....it's enough to get you started for sure.
Laura....what you do now is what will make the phone ring in the future....
Thanks Barbara, I am part of Katerina's twice monthly coaching calls, need to really get focused and learn what I can.
Kinda struggling with being part of this team, getting push back about putting systems into place so I am going to focus on my own business.
Thanks, as always, for the great input.
Great advice Barbara! And one of the first things Katerina teaches us is to follow those who are successful and when someone is sprouting off as an 'expert' to ask them "How is that working for you" - Well, we already know by your fine example that blogging is key to your success as one of the Top Real Estate Agents in Franklin MA - Barbara Todaro knows her stuff and the proof is in the rankings!
Virginia....that's great....Katerina does a fantastic job....she really knows her SEO....working as a team is not an easy task....there can only be one captain of a team....sometimes the members do not have the same attitude and philosophy of doing business as the team captain....it's time to move on, if that happens....
Christine.....thank you for the kind words.....I blog everyday and on multiple sites about our inventory.....that's one of our niches....listings.....we can never have enough....
Barbara - you've got that right! I'm all over the blogging thing now and may try a few old fashioned ideas too, door knocking in my neighborhood. I'm not a big fan of that but I am also the HOA Social Director so as we call it in Texas, its a Twofer! For the yankees, 2 For 1! LOL!

Cathy....old methods never get old...they'll be around forever....I focus on direct mail marketing (snail mail as they call it now!! ha) that snail mail brings us new listings every month....
Hi Barbara: Well, I have a new focus now, one that I've always included but not specifically targeted: Commercial Real Estate. For some reason, this has become the biggest part of my business.
Yep, August is a waning month. Everyone back from vacations and getting ready for school. I believe it will pick back up in September.
Hella....that's great....blogging about our niche areas is what I do for my team....we have several niche areas and I focus on all of them....good luck with yours.
Paula....I hope so....this is not a typical year...
Good morning Barbara,
August is always off kilter because there is so much going on..trying to cram a vacation in before school, getting kids ready for school, getting kids off to college etc. etc. Good time to prepare for the busy fall market of Sept, Oct. & November..never as great as the spring market but a viable market regardless!
Dorie.....I hope that's the case....as I said previously, this is not a typical year....now or in the past several years.....
Thanks for the tip! I will certianly get on that.
